hi, i'm sam!

i'm from utah! i love shooting landscapes, wildlife and people with cameras, drones and phones, and creating content from what i shoot. i don't have a particular niche, other than capturing what i find interesting in the moment. my pics and vids are also on instagram and flickr. recently i captured drone and stationary camera footage for my cousin's DJ set on mount hood!

my photos have garnered 18M+ views on pexels, resulting in them being featured on some notable websites. my photography has also won me a few local state fair awards (1st & 3rd place) and even a contest on a cruise. i guess people like them!

previously, i've done full-stack web and mobile app (specifically, android) development for the benefit of myself, friends, a small handful of companies, and a volunteer org. oh, and i worked on a game once. speaking of cameras, have you played with my aphex twin inspired camera app that folds your face? i'm a bit less active writing software at present, but that may change!
